CHARMEUSE FABRIC
SILK
CHAMEUSE is also called Silk Satin. Our fabric has a satin face and
a matte back. We run numerous qualities like the 3 shown in the icons
at the bottom of this page.
We import the GREIGE
goods from the China and Korea and dye the fabric in the USA. As a result
we carry almost 100 colors. These colors have very little dye lot variation
and match perfectly with our CHIFFON, HABOTAI and SILK ORGANZA. The
back of the fabric can also be used. This gives the effect of a SANDWASHED
fabric [but without the flaws!]
The 19 MM [ momme
weight] is the REGULAR WEIGHT CHARMEUSE and works with interior drapes,
bedding and also wedding and cocktail garments.
The 30 MM is a HEAVIER WEIGHT is is per fect for Bridal garments. [Yes
we do have even heavier qualities].
The Stretch Lycra fabric has 7% Lycra and makes up into a superb body
hugging garment.
Sample Swatches are now available. However we only have them available in the Habotai Quality. The color of the swatch is the same dye formula across the two fabrics
