Information to help you calculate the size of drape required

GROMMET drapes are flat and unpleated. We take a 54" wide length of silk and once sewn and hemed, results in a 48" wide panel. Once a single width panel is installed on a rod, it can be adjusted between 24" and 33".

To calculate how many widths you need, divide the rod length by 24" or 33". This will give you an idea of haw many panels you will need. Add about 1" to the length of the drapes as there will be 3/4" to 1" of fabric above the top of the gommet

To calculate the length of the drapery, measure the distance from the top of the rod to 1" above the floor for floor length draperies. Measure from the top of the rod to 4 inches below the window sill for apron length draperies. If you want the drapery to pool, allow for extra length.
